I have just finished a series of Oz Comic Cons and it was pretty awesome. I am totally used up!
Yet, there are still a lot of things I want to do, and NEED to do, as the year edges towards it’s finale.
I know what it’s like to want to end the year strong, but have a lot of unrealized goals. So I have made a new workshop just on that- how to make the next 3 months ROCK and ROLL!

Your Morning Motivation
This section will be a thought to help you set yourself up for a more purposeful day. It can be a very simple thing to add a bit of focused intention to your day.
How to use this section:
- Pick one thing to focus on today. I’ll make a suggestion below, but it can be whatever is right for you.
- Write it down somewhere you’ll see it several times a day. Bonus if you add in why you chose it and how it will make a change in your day/life.
- Set a timer on your phone, 4x today to look at your intention.
- At the end of the day write down how it went, what did you notice, and what you might want to try tomorrow.
My theme for the next 3 months is making it the best quarter of the year. In the Practical Practice workshop Make the Next Season The BEST Season, I walk you through how to use Mindset, Visualization and Intentions to create the reality you want.
Take this into your morning by spending time just imagining the upcoming period of time – day, week, month, season, and seeing it unfold the way you WANT it to.
Ask yourself these questions:
Intentions – What’s the goal for today?
Mindset – How will I do my best for myself today? Inspire?
Visualization – How you want to feel and dream into your goals.
What’s a great motto/mantra for today?
Write it down! Make it so!
Article of the month
The Season of Gratitude
We will start early so you get a running start on it!
If I were to hope to give you one thing out of all the tools I teach it would be this: Be Thankful.
Feel into being grateful for everything you can, big and small.
There’s magic in being appreciative. Do you notice how good it feels to be appreciated? When you are noticed and given credit for your efforts? It works that way in life. The universal energy of life gives the appreciator appreciation. This translates into gifts coming into your life you could never have anticipated.
A friend will show up right when you need them. Extra funds become available. Lucky timing of incidents happen. The teacher you didn’t know you needed appears.
#BrainFunFact: When you are afraid, find something to be grateful for. Gratitude and Fear cannot exist in the same moment.
When you are afraid, list the things you can be grateful for – your child’s health, the lights turn on, you took a good poop!
Keep going until you feel better. Breathe better. Anytime you feel afraid, think thankful thoughts. Every time. Make it a habit!
The more fear you feel, the more grateful you become. Soon it will be a habit to look for what you can feel grateful for.
NOW, take some time to let the brain rest and recover by just closing your eyes and box breathing. You want to let the body calm down, stop sending stress hormones to the braincase, and let the body return to a peaceful state.
After a while, you’ll notice how your life has shifted from fear to magical synchronicities popping up and helping you.
When you are feeling anxious, tight and constricted over a problem, start to focus on anything you can be grateful for. Keep breathing slowly and list everyday things you are happy you have – clean water to drink, gas in the car, a phone in your pocket.
If you are broke, look around the room and find what you can be happy you have already. A picture you enjoy, shoes to wear, a book you love. Focus on where you do feel rich and abundant. Good friends, good health, lots of music, fresh air.
Something shifts all around you and conspires to help you feel better, get what you need and teach you something new.
As you practice thankfulness and appreciation, you’ll notice you become more lighthearted. You learn what’s important. You’ll really let the gratitude into your heart. It changes you!
Because that’s what you need: to heal from stress so you can thrive. The big first step is the shift from fear to thankfulness.

Our Quest Travel Adventures
When Glenn and I first started traveling together in 2019, we often talked about the power in the actual earth. There are places that just feel different.
We would comment to each other we could feel something almost vibrating. It sometimes feels like a presence is nearby. Or that a place has a sense of sacredness. I feel that a lot outside, in woods or by the ocean.
I seem to find a spiritual connection to a place through its birds and animals. Australia has incredible wildlife. All the animals are unique. The birdsong is amazing. The oceans are gorgeous.
I have loved it.
I’m currently doing Oz Comic Con. We just finished Brisbane and now we are in Sydney. These have been great cons! The team is professional. They take great care of us. And the fans are wonderful. If you ever get a chance to go to one, I highly recommend it.
Cities can feel welcoming to visitors or not! We have really enjoyed Sydney. It’s designed for visitors! Brisbane has a vibrant riverside community. Just taking the ferry is a lot of fun! I’ll have to write up a guide for all we have done and any recommendations we have.
Cons are a great place to make new friends. We actors meet other actors from different shows. I became closer to my own castmates on the road! We had more time to hangout. Claudia Christian and I have traveled a lot together. A good traveling partner is GOLD.
Glenn and I became friends with very talented voice actor Brian Beacock. You’ll notice him popping up in some of my photos!
The 3 of us went to The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane. It’s a fantastic place to see not only koalas, but wallabies, kangaroos, birds and other animals of all kinds.
I just get so excited about the animals here! I made some posts about it, and I’ll mention it here again – the koalas were comparatively ZIPPY to any other koala I have ever seen. They were alert and moving around their enclosures visiting each other. I was absolutely mesmerized.
As I may have mentioned, Glenn and I are scuba divers. On our trip to the Great Barrier Reef we had some magical experiences with the ocean life.
One of my most memorable moments was when a 30 foot whale shark swam up to us when we were about 90 feet down. Just magical.
We saw more whale sharks in Ningaloo off Exmouth in Western Australia where they specialize in finding the giant fish. That was wonderful too but an encounter that’s unexpected is just the best.
There’s a special magic in the animals and you can feel their unique presence. The call of the birds. Especially the kookaburras! I will miss this so much.
When you are outside next, notice the birds and animals. Even the insects. See what they have to share with you. Because it truly is magical!
Journal Prompt
(Each month I will give you a thought to fire up your mind. Use journaling prompts over and over again and see how the result changes.)
Try going outside to a place that seems inviting and every day write down something you noticed that caught your imagination. What can you notice that gives you appreciation? When did you find yourself being fully present? What sounds do you notice? Birds, children, wind…
Go to different spots to see what happens. I found a wonderful place in a museum garden. Glenn loves coffee shops. I love nature. See what inspires you!
